Join guided tours with our Horticulture Manager who along with a team of Gardener’s maintains these impressive grounds for a tour of the gardens and the stories behind it. The tour will take in behind the scenes areas and you will learn about some of the challenges and highlights in looking after one of Australia’s great gardens.
Discover what was happening 60 years ago at Rippon Lea, which led to the proposed acquisition of a further 4.2 acres of land and what that might have looked like. Participate in a historical show and tell, bring along any old photographs, objects and/or stories of Rippon Lea’s past. Share your knowledge and information on our history. Tours of the unique Victorian Kitchens will be running throughout the day.
The Dressmaker Costume Exhibition will be running as normal, tickets can be purchased at the door of the mansion or online.
