Yes, you can continue to use your existing plastic Garden Card.
Signing up is quick and straightforward. Eligible residents can register online:

– Port Phillip Council Residents
Please bring valid proof of address when you visit to use with your digital garden card.
Physical cards remain available for visitors who require them. Please speak with National Trust staff at Rippon Lea during your next visit.
Note: The sign-up process can still be completed online, and a physical card can be provided during your next visit. Please bring the garden card number which has been issued to you via email.
Your digital card will be emailed to the address you provided when you signed up. Instructions on how to add your card to your Apple or Google Wallet can be found here.

When the council access program renews, we automatically issue new digital cards to all eligible cardholders. Check your inbox and spam folder for your renewal email.

Garden Entry Cardholders must be prepared to present proof of current address upon arrival to Rippon Lea Estate. Valid proof of address documents include:
– Victorian Driver’s License or Learners Permit
– Australian Passport
– Residential tenancy agreement
– Rates or utility bill
If you are unable to present proof of address, the general admission fees will apply.
If you do not have your card with you, free entry cannot be guaranteed, and standard admission fees may apply.

All people who permanently reside at the registered residential address may be included.

Free garden entry to Rippon Lea is subject to exceptions including market days, special events and exhibitions. In these cases, general admission fees apply. Information regarding the ticketing and fees will be available via the relevant event ticketing page. Garden Cardholders are welcome to contact bookings@nattrust.com.au with any questions.
The card is valid only for eligible residents who permanently live within the council area. Guests are welcome but must purchase a standard admission ticket.
