DESCRIPTION:*Please note from Monday 24 February to Friday 20 March the Mansion will be closed for the installation of the Miss Fisher and The Crypt of Tears Exhibition. This exhibition is open from Friday 20 March until Sunday 19 July and is presented inside the mansion. During this time the internal furniture and fixtures may have been removed\, adjusted or replaced to accommodate the exhibition pieces. Regular tours of the mansion won’t be offered during the exhibition period and will only re-commence after all original furniture and fixtures have been re-installed and once the exhibition has ended. \nEntry to the mansion is by guided tour only. \nRippon Lea is a large nineteenth century mansion surrounded by 14 acres of Victorian pleasure gardens. It is listed on the National Heritage Register because it is one of the finest examples of an original suburban estate in Australia. \nTo hear some amazing stories about the mansion and the people who made it come to life\, join one of our guides on a tour. \nWe are pleased to advise that 3 new rooms are now open to the public with more to follow shortly! \nGuided house tours are booked in the Gatehouse and subject to volunteer availability.\nCome early as tours can fill up quickly! \n
