Tours of the mansion are included in general admission tickets, subject to volunteer guide availability.

Tours are 45 minutes duration and run from 10.30am to 3.00pm

Garden tours are $5 per person, per tour for Glen Eira residents on presentation of a garden entry card.

Closed for exhibition installation

Step back in time during a guided tour of this magnificent mansion

*Please note from Monday 24 February to Friday 20 March the Mansion will be closed for the installation of the Miss Fisher and The Crypt of Tears Exhibition. This exhibition is open from Friday 20 March until Sunday 19 July and is presented inside the mansion. During this time the internal furniture and fixtures may have been removed, adjusted or replaced to accommodate the exhibition pieces. Regular tours of the mansion won’t be offered during the exhibition period and will only re-commence after all original furniture and fixtures have been re-installed and once the exhibition has ended.

Entry to the mansion is by guided tour only.

Rippon Lea is a large nineteenth century mansion surrounded by 14 acres of Victorian pleasure gardens. It is listed on the National Heritage Register because it is one of the finest examples of an original suburban estate in Australia.
