DESCRIPTION:Experience the magnificent gardens of Rippon Lea during our 45 minute tours of the heritage listed Estate. \nThe garden is complex and covers almost 14 acres\, which includes a large lake\, extensive shrubberies and flower gardens\, an orchard of historically significant fruit varieties\, a fernery and many other features of historical\, landscape and architectural interest\, all forming the setting for the polychrome brick mansion completed in 1868. \nThe garden is tended by a Head Gardener\, staff of five gardeners and a team of volunteers. \nGarden Tour Schedule\nGarden tours run most days between 11am – 2pm\, subject to volunteer guide availability.\nPlease see our friendly volunteers in the Gatehouse on arrival to find out the next available time for the day. \nAll tours depart from the Gatehouse \nPlease note: the tower at the lake is currently closed for repairs and maintenance \nPlease be advised that from 1st July 2019\, new admission prices take affect.\nPlease see details here. \n  \n
