Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries returns to Rippon Lea!
We are delighted to announce that, due to overwhelming demand, The Miss Fisher's Murder Mystery exhibition has now been extended. The exhibition will now run daily until the 1st of December 2013. Don't miss your chance to view this acclaimed exhibition!
Please note that there will be no entry to the Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition on Sunday November 10th due to the Harvest and Graze Festival held in Rippon Lea gardens.
The popular ABC TV Series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries will return to Rippon Lea this spring with a major exhibition featuring the sumptuous costumes worn by the Hon. Phryne Fisher and her cohorts. The house and gardens, which feature in the series as the home of Aunt Prudence, will once again be transformed as the doors open to the Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition on the 7th of September.

Please note that while the exhibition is on there will be no tours of the mansion as the exhibition is self guided.

Located only 20 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, you will find the last of Australia’s grand suburban estates – with a pleasure garden of 5.7 hectares (14 acres) of sweeping lawns, magnificent trees, a tranquil lake, the Southern Hemisphere's largest fernery, and an orchard with over one hundred varieties of heritage apples and pears.
Come and spend an afternoon meandering through the mansion, relaxing with a book on the lawns, climbing the lookout tower, playing croquet on the Nursery lawn or enjoying a coffee in the Gate House.
From September to April Rippon Lea House & Gardens will be open Daily from 10am - 5pm. The house will close at 4pm and last entry to the gardens is at 4.30pm.

We are keen to meet dynamic, positive people who are interested in heritage or tourism and interacting with our visitors. Volunteers at Rippon Lea conduct tours of the mansion, help maintain the gardens, assist in our Gatehouse with admissions or help out on special event days. Does one or more of these areas sound like you? A high focus on customer service and great communication skills are an important part of the Rippon Lea experience!
